OnePlus has officially announced its next flagship smartphone globally as expected today, the OnePlus 3, successor of OnePlus 2. Wrapped in an anodized aluminium unibody that measure just 7.35mm at its thickest point, the phone features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display flaunting a full-HD pixel resolution of 1920×1080, protected on the surface by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. It is driven on the inside by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz, coupled with huge 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.
It comes with a 64GB of internal storage, but lacks MicroSD expansion slot. Oxygen OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow governs all software activities, and there are two SIM slots (nano + nano) onboard for dual use. For smart security, a fingerprint sensor is embedded beneath the physical home button for biometric authentication. In photography, the OnePlus 3 houses a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, OIS, Sony IMX 298 sensor and LED flash, capable of recording 4K video and slow-motion video (@120fps), while an 8-megapixel selfie camera with Sony IMX 179 and f/2.0 aperture sits at the front, which can also record video in full-HD (1080p).

Connectivity options included are 4G LTE + VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (dual-band + MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging (via Dash Charge technology).

The OnePlus 3 will be available globally starting this week, with Europe and United States taking the first lead from today via oneplus.net, and India taking the second lead tomorrow 15th of June exclusively on Amazon India. Pricing for each selected market are listed below.
