Panasonic has launch a new mid-budget Android smartphone under its “Eluga” series in India, the Eluga A. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,490 (approx $158) and will be available starting from August 15.
The Eluga A features a 5-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 480×854 pixels, and runs the dated Android 4.3 Jelly bean. It comes with 4GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
The new Eluga A by Panasonic is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, alongside with 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. On connectivity side, the smartphone features Bluetooth, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, GPS and Micro-USB. It packs a 2000mAh removable Li-ion battery, rated to deliver up to 320 hours of standby time.

Last month, Panasonic launch the Eluga U in India which runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Other features include a 5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera.
