Panasonic Eluga Note with 16MP camera, 5.5″ full-HD display launched

Panasonic has launched a new phablet-size budget smartphone under its “Eluga” series in India called Eluga Note. Measuring 146×74.5×8.15mm, the device features a 5.5-inch IPS LTPS display flaunting a pixel resolution of 1920×1080 and pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, it is driven by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box topped with the company’s FitHome UI, and offers dual-SIM functionality with support of 4G LTE and VoLTE. A 16-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture and triple-LED flash is equipped at the rear, capable of recording full-HD (1080p) video, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The Eluga Note offers Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options in addition to 4G LTE and VoLTE. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

The Panasonic Eluga Note is priced at Rs 13,290 ($199 USD). It will be available at offline and online stores across India in coming days.
