Panasonic has added a new mid-budget smartphone to its Eluga series in India named as Eluga S Mini. The device carries a price tag of Rs 8,990 ($141 USD) and will be available in coming days.
The Panasonic Eluga S Mini is the smaller variant of Eluga S that was launched in November last year. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch IPS display with HD (720p) resolution and packs a true octa-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.4GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM. There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
At the rear, the Eluga S Mini sports an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos while it houses a 5-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options provided with the device are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 1980mAh battery.
The Panasonic Eluga S Mini will be available in Shadowy Grey and Frosty White color variants.
