Panasonic on Monday launched a new 4G-enabled smartphone with VoLTE under its Eluga range of products in India called Eluga Tapp. The device comes with a 5.0-inch IPS capacitive touch display boasting HD (1280×720) resolution and pixel density of 294ppi. An unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz powered it on the Inside, alongside with 2GB of RAM.

The phone includes a 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Eluga Tapp runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and offers dual SIM functionality with dual standby. For smart security, a fingerprint sensor is embedded beneath the physical home button located at the bottom of the display.
At the rear, the phone is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with Auto Focus and LED flash, while it harbors a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Apart from 4G VoLTE, the device also supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It measures 143×71×8.15mm and weigh 138 grams, it fuelled by a 2800mAh battery.
The Panasonic Eluga Tapp carries a price tag of Rs 8,990 ($135). It will be available in Champagne Gold and Silver Grey color variants when it go on sale.
