Panasonic has launched a new budget smartphone with 4G VoLTE in India under its “P” portfolio named P71. The device features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touch display with a HD resolution of 1280×720 pixel and a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz accompanied with 1GB of RAM. The Panasonic P71 comes in 2GB RAM option as well.

A 16GB of storage is placed inside which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The phone boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and includes two SIM slots for dual use. Sitting at the back is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, while a 2-megapixel camera is equipped at the front for taking selfie. The Panasonic P71 offers Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB as connectivity options apart from 4G VoLTE and is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
The P71 1GB RAM version is priced at Rs 7,490 (US$112) and the 2GB RAM version at Rs 8,190 (US$122). It is available in Ivory Gold and Dim Grey Black colour options at retail outlets across the country.
