Panasonic has introduced T50, an entry-level smartphone in India, priced at Rs 4,990 ($73 USD). The device will be available in online and offlines stores across the region in coming days.
The Panasonic T50 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with the company’s new SAIL UI that offers advance customization features such as Theme Club, Gesture Control e.t.c. It sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels, and packs a quad-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 1GB of RAM.

It includes an 8GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The dual-SIM enabled Panasonic T50 harbours a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 1,600mAh battery.
The device measures 131.7 x 66.3 x 8.8mm and comes in Rose Gold, Midnight Blue and Champagne Gold color variants.
