The Tokyo based camera maker Pentax, has launch a new compact camera dubbed Pentax XG-1. It will be available at a price of £249.99.
The camera packs a 52x optical zoom lens and comes in a small, easy-to-transport body. There’s a 16-megapixel with 1/2.3-inch back illuminated CMOS sensor onboard which is capable of shooting ISO 100-3200.

The camera also includes a shake reduction sensor for clear image shot. According to Pentax, users will have access to three shooting modes with the standard being 9 frames per second, and an ultra high-speed 60 frames per second.
There is a 3-inch LCD screen on the rear of the camera for viewing images from multiple angles. The Pentax XG-1 is capable of recording 1080p video, and also comes with additional features like Auto tracking AF, Digital filters, and HDR.
The XG-1 is expected to arrive in August.
