Police agents in Sokoto state have arrested a person from a kidnap gang, who by mistake boarded a commercial vehicle of one of his victims.
The driver, whose name was not uncovered was kidnapped around two months back along Kankara in Katsina state while getting back from Kano.

As per Daily Trust, the driver, who went through three weeks in the kidnapper’s hands and was released after paying undisclosed ransom money.
Luckily for the driver, an individual from the gang that kidnapped him boarded his Kano bound vehicle from the Kwannawa park in the Dange-Shuni neighborhood government zone of Sokoto on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
An NURTW boss disclosed to Daily Trust that “The driver rushed to recognize him on the grounds that the episode happened quite recently.
The endorser added that “subsequent to distinguishing him, he cautioned our chiefs who thusly educated the closest police station.”
In any case, to grab the suspect, the NURTW pioneers at the engine leave changed the driver of the vehicle and requested the new driver to drive the vehicle towards Shuni town, where police agents were standing by to capture the suspect.
While being grilled, the suspect was said to have admitted that he had a place with a gang of kidnappers who affectionately called him ‘Hadari’.
The suspect has apparently been moved to the Sokoto State Police Command base camp for additional examination.
