Police Arrest Teenager For Allegedly Setting Ex-Boyfriend’s House On Fire, Killing His New Lover

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a teenager and her companion regarding an arson that prompted the loss of the life of her previous boyfriend’s new lover.

The command’s spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, said in a statement on Monday, November 23, 2020, that 19-year-old Jemila Ibrahim planned with her companion, 21-year-old Fatima Mohammed, to commit the crime on November 18.

He said the two put a match to the loft involved by Mohammed Yusuf at Monkey Village in the Festac territory of Lagos.

Yusuf’s new sweetheart, Rabi, was caught inside the loft before she was safeguarded and raced to a clinic for clinical treatment, however she passed on three days after the fact on November 21.

Mohammed told the Police he said a final farewell to Ibrahim over her supposed betrayal, before he experienced passionate feelings for the perished Rabi.

Ibrahim and Mohammed were arrested by cops appended to Satellite Division, and will before long be moved to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department (SCIID), Panti.

The state’s Commissioner of Police requested that the case be completely explored so equity can win.
