Realme today announced Realme Band, the company’s first smart fitness band. The device, primarily meant for health diagnosis, comes with a built-in PPG heart rate sensor which helps provide real-time heart rate monitoring and helps keep track of users heartbeat. The device deliver health stats including heart rate nearly in real-time on the screen.
Speaking of the screen, the Realme Band has an 0.96-inch color LCD display with a resolution of 160×80 pixels that let users monitor various data right on their wrist. There are different customizable watch faces to choose, and apart from heart rate monitoring the fitness band can also be used to track sleep and other fitness exercise such as run, walk, steps, climbing, hiking, yoga e.t.c.

The device is IP68 water and dust resistant certified, meaning it survive up to 30 minutes in 1.5 meters deep of water, making it suitable for light swimming. It can be paired with a smartphone running Android 5.0 and above via Bluetooth 4.2 to receive incoming calls and message notifications as well. Also, the device has a sedentary reminder. The 90mAh battery onboard is rated to deliver up to 10 days of usage in a single charge with heart rate monitoring turned on, according to Realme.
Priced at Rs 1,499 (US$22), the Realme Band will go on sale on Amazon India starting from March 9th. However, for those who are in hurry to get their hands on one, the company is hosting a limited-time sale on its website (realme.com) today, March 5th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Buyers will be able to choose between Black, Green, and Yellow colors when ordering one.
