Samsung has officially unveiled its latest Galaxy tablet that had already been expected, the Galaxy View. It was announced earlier today, but Samsung failed to reveal its pricing and availability.
The Galaxy View features an 18.4-inch display with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080, flaunting a pixel density of 119ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7580 processor with a clock speed of 1.66GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. Notably, the Galaxy View has a dedicated SIM card (nano) slot with supports of 4G LTE and 3G. The tablet is built to satisfy users when it comes entertainment. Unlike other Samsung Galaxy tablet launched in recent years, the device has a standalone homescreen that list various contents from popular streaming service such as Hulu, YouTube and Netflix.

To further get the best out of it, the tablet is equipped with two 4W stereo speakers for better sound quality output and clarity. It sports a 2.1-megapixel camera at the front that is capable of recording video in full-HD (1080p). Wireless connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi 802.11ac, GPS and GLONASS. It is backed by a 5700mAh battery which the company claimed can deliver up to 8 hours of video playback in a single charge.
