The Korean tech giant, Samsung, has introduced two new laptops, the ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin 2-in-1 convertible. The first flaunt a 15.6-inch 4K display (3840 x 2160 pixels), making it the company’s first laptop to have a 4K resolution. The second however, comes with a 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200 × 1800 pixels) touchscreen display that can be flip up to 360-degree. It offers three different modes, Tent, Laptop and Tablet, for flexibility of use in various environments.
In processing and graphics units, the ATIV Book 9 Pro is powered by a 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor clocked at 2.6GHz with a dedicated 2GB GDDR2 Nvidia GeForce GTX950M GPU, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD SATA 3 storage, while the ATIV Book 9 Spin settled for a 6th generation Intel Core i7-6500U processor that is clocked at 2.5GHz, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage.

In connectivity compartment, the ATIV Book 9 Pro supports Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, 3x USB 3.0 ports, full-size HDMI output port, and card reader, and ATIV Book 9 Spin Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port and full-size HDMI port. The first measures 14.72-inch in length, 9.83-inch in width, 0.70-inch in height, and has an overall weightness of 4.45 pounds, while the 2-in-1 Book 9 Spin has a weightness of 2.87 pounds. Battery of both device are rated to deliver up to 7.3 hours and 6.5 hours, respectively.
The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin costs $1,599 USD and $1,399 USD, respectively. Both will be available later in November exclusively on Samsung store and BestBuy in the U.S.
