Samsung has silently introduced a new smartphone under its “Galaxy” series of products in Japan called Galaxy Feel (SC-04J). The phone has an aluminium frame around the edge and is 149 grams in weight, measuring 138 x 67 x 8.3mm.
It features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with HD resolution of 1280×720 pixel. Under the hood, it is driven by an unspecified octa-core processor with 1.6GHz clock speed, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone includes a 32GB of inbuilt storage, however, it is unclear if it supports external MicroSD slot. It is waterproof and dustproof certified with IPX5/8 and IP6X ratings.

The Galaxy Feel runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and has a fingerprint sensor on top of the physical home button. In photography, it houses a 16-megapixel camera at the rear with LED flash, while a 5-megapixel selfie camera sits at the front. Connectivity options included are 4G VoLTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and GPS. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging, capable of rendering up to 170 hours of standby time.
The Samsung Galaxy Feel is listed on Japanese website NTT Docomo in Moon White, Oral Pink and Indigo Black colors without pricing and availability details. No confirmation on global launch yet.
