Samsung has silently released a new entry-level Galaxy smartphone in Bangladesh named Galaxy J1 NXT. The device is priced at BDT 6990 which translates to roughly $88 USD and is available for purchase across the region.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 NXT features a 4-inch TFT display with WVGA (800×480 pixels) resolution. It offers dual SIM (Micro + Micro) functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box topped with TouchWiz UI. Diving in, the smartphone is driven by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
It includes an 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via MicroSD card. Sitting at the rear is a 5-megapixel camera accompanied with a LED flash, while it sports a 0.3-megapixel camera at the front. In connectivity compartment, the Galaxy J1 NXT supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G. GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 1,500mAh removable battery.

Ultra Data Saving (UDS) feature onboard reduces data consumption up to 50% during internet browsing. The phone measures 126.6 x 63.1 x 10.8 mm and weight 123 grams. It comes in White and Golden colors.
