Samsung on Friday unveiled its latest budget smartphones in China, Galaxy On7 and Galaxy On5. The first is listed (translated) on the company official China webpage without pricing and availability, while the second was listed (more like teased) on the company India page earlier this week but was immediately pull down. We expect Samsung to announce both device in coming days.
The Galaxy On7 which takes the lead features a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It offers dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (not specified) slammed with 1.5GB of RAM. There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard, which is further expandable via MicroSD (up to 128GB).

At the rear, the Galaxy On7 is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera coupled with LED flash, capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos, while it houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options provided are 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and GLONASS. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy On5 also offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, but packs a smaller 5-inch display with same HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution as first. It is powered by a quad-core Exynos 3475 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, slammed with 1.5GB of RAM.
An 8GB storage is placed inside which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The Galaxy On5 harbours an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options remains the same with Galaxy On7. It is fuelled by a 2,600mAh battery.
