Samsung today declared the Galaxy M30s official in India. The phone features a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution, while the “U” notch centered above the display accommodates a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Moving on, the Galaxy M30s is driven by an Exynos 9611 10nm octa-core chipset clocked at 2.3GHz, clubbed with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage (UFS 2.1). The storage can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 512GB. The phone sports triple camera behind – there is a 48MP Samsung GW2 main shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, a secondary 5MP depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a tertiary 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (123°) with an f/2.2 aperture.

The device runs Android 9.0 Pie with One UI 1.5 overlayed. It has a dedicated dual SIM slot, while biometric security is provided by a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity presents are Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11ac (dual band), Dual 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. The phone is 8.8mm thick and only weighs 188 grams, and is fuelled by a 6000mAh battery with 15W fast charging supports.
The Galaxy M30s has a plastic back with dual-tone finish, themed in Pearl White, Sapphire Blue, and Opal Black colors. The 4GB RAM/64GB storage version is priced at Rs 13,999 (US$196), while the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version will be sold for Rs 16,999 (US$238). Amazon India and Samsung online eStore will be selling the phone from September 29th.
