A new Samsung Galaxy smartphone has launched on multiple network carriers in the United States. The Galaxy J3 Prime as named, is listed on MetroPCS and T-Mobile. The first carrier is offering it at $69 at the moment while it is being sold on T-Mobile at $150 for prepaid customers with $75 instant discount. This is the same Galaxy Amp Prime 2 that was launched on Cricket last week.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy J3 Prime features a 5-inch IPS capacitive touch display with HD resolution of 1280×720 pixel. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.35GHz, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. A 16GB of storage resides inside, which can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and offers 4G LTE. At the back is a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and HD (720p) video recording capability, while a 2-megapixel selfie camera sits at the front. Other connectivity onboard apart from 4G LTE are Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, 3G, and GPS. It measures 139.7×69.85×8.89mm, weighs 147.9 grams, and packs a 2,600mAh removable battery.
