Following the launch of TabPro S Gold Edition in U.S, Samsung has silently upgrade one of its Chrome laptop series in Korea. The Chromeboook Pro as named, is a convertible Chrome laptop with a 360-degree rotatable hinge that enables it to be use as a tablet as well. It comes with a stylus named “PEN”, a Galaxy Note7 lookalike wanna-be-me, and there is a dock at its side where it can be kept.

The laptop is clad in an aluminium body painted in Platinum Silver color with 13.9mm thickness, and bears a weight of 1.08kg. Notably, the Chrome operating system the Chromebook Pro runs is Google Play Store activated, meaning you can run any Android apps on it. It features a 12.3-inch LED touch display with 2400×1600 pixel resolution, 400 nits brightness, and multi-touch support. Under the hood, it is driven by an unspecified hexa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM.
The new Samsung convertible Chrome laptop comes with a 32GB of eMMC storage with MicroSD card reader onboard for expandable storage. As far as the specs go, there is no mention of Webcam and mic, but thankfully there are 3.5mm headphones jack and loudspeakeronboard for medium entertainment experience. The Chromebook Pro offers two USB Type-C ports, Bluetooth, and WiFi 802.11ac as connectivity options and is loaded with a battery that can render up to 10 hours of use in a single charge.
It is currently available for pre-orders on eStore “Adorama” at a price of US$499. A year AirDroid free subscription is included with every purchase.
