Samsung has quietly made a new addition to its 2016 edition of Galaxy J series smartphone in Vietnam called Galaxy J7 Prime, a more variant of Galaxy J7 that released earlier this year. The phone is listed on the company website with a price tag of VND 6,290,000 (US$282) while availability details is not mentioned.
The Galaxy J7 Prime runs Android 6.0.Marshmallow topped with TouchWiz UI and offers dual SIM functionality. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1920×1080) resolution, protected on the surface by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Diving in, it is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset clubbed with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, while it harbors a 32GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. To reminds you, the Galaxy J7 2016 is driven by a Snapdragon 410 chipset which is less powerful when compare with Exynos that this phone boast of.

Sitting at the back is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, while a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture sits the front. Below the display is a physical home button which also house a fingerprint sensor underneath for smart security and biometric authentication. Connectivity options included with the device are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS and GLONASS.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 prime is wrapped in a full metal body that measures 151.5 x 74.9 x 8.1mm. It is backed by a 3300mAh battery.
