Last month, Tecno Mobile introduced Camon i with FullScreen display exclusively in India, today, the company has launched a cheaper model of the smartphone in the said market. The Camon i Air as called, features a slightly larger 5.65-inch display but sports the same HD+ (1440×720) resolution as its big brother. It runs the older Android 7.0 Nougat OS with HiOS placed on top.
Although the processor and clock speed remains the same, the RAM has been downgraded from 3GB to 2GB and the built-in storage from 32GB to 16GB. The front camera also experienced a dramatic negative change as it now sports an 8MP sensor, which is quite lower when compared with Camon i 13MP front camera. Apart from these changes, other specs remains the same.
