The Vivo U3 today was made official in China, with it comes Waterdrop LCD screen, Snapdragon 675 octa-core chipset, and triple rear-facing camera. The phone will start selling at the aforementioned region later this month as the specific date is not mentioned.
The U3 has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340×1080) 2.5D curved glass display that boasts of 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Above the display is a 16MP front camera that resides inside the waterdrop notch positioned at the center of the screen. Apart from taking selfie and recording video, the front camera also have face unlock security baked inside for smart security in addition to the fingerprint sensor located at the back.

At the rear of the phone also sitted three cameras for photography and videography; the primary has a 16MP sensor with Sony IMX499 sensor and f/1.78 aperture, the secondary is an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens (120°) with an f/2.2 aperture, while the tertiary 2MP f/2.2 camera is made to capture the depth of field for portraits shot. The rear camera supports auto focus and are accompanied by a LED flash.
The softwares relied on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Speaking of the hardware, as mentioned earlier, the Vivo U10 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz, clubbed with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and Adreno 612 GPU. The firm is also offering a 6GB RAM model with the same amount of storage. The storage can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB.
Connectivity put in place are Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11ac, Dual 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphones jack. It measures 162.15 x 76.47 x 8.89mm, weighs 193 grams, and is fuelled by a 5000mAh battery with supports for 18W fast charging. The 4GB/64GB version is priced at CN¥ 999 (US$141), while the 6GB/64GB version costs CN¥ 1199 (US$169).
The U3 is offered in Black, Green, and Blue colors.
