Nokia is coming back in few months time and this time they are here to stay, but there has been several rumours about the specs that the upcoming Nokia Android smartphone will be packing along. The Nokia D1C renders made it online few weeks ago and HMD Global, the Finnish-based company that acquired the exclusive licence to sell Nokia-branded phones confirmed its existence, but today, something entirely new has surfaced online. We now have the clear shot of how the Nokia D1C looks like, we mean the live image, probably.

As can be seen in the image, the D1C posted is in black color and the display that appears beneath the glossy screen seems to be more than 5-inch, probably 5.5-inch. The Nokia logo can be seen at the top right side, clearly visible in what looks like a silver color, and there is a camera right besides it. We have the earpiece following the camera at the left. There might be proximity and ambient light sensors at the top left side too, but these are not visible or clearly hidden.
At the bottom, we have two touch-enabled capacitive buttons acting as the back and menu keys, while there is a physical home button inbetween. If the rumours are right, the home button may accommodate the fingerprint scanner. The Nokia D1C is said to come in two display options, 5-inch and 5.5-inch, and this might be the 5.5-inch variant, though both are rumoured to offer full-HD (1920×1080) resolution.
Other features expected includes Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB/3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13-megapixel/16-megapixel rear cameras, and 8-megapixel front camera. The Nokia D1C will also be running Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Another live image of a new Nokia smartphone dubbed E1 also made an appearance. The “E” in the naming reminds us of the wide-screen Symbian smartphones with QWERTY keyboard that took the world by storm years back. The image shows what appears to be a smaller screen when compare with D1C and there are three capacitive touch keys laid below as well. This time, the proximity sensor is clearly visible at the left and the earpiece is at the center. The Nokia logo sits at the top right just as on D1C but in what looks like Black color instead of Silver. However, there is no confirmation on the existence of the Nokia E1 by HMD Global.
The Nokia D1C is expected to be officially announce at MWC 2017 scheduled to begin in fourth week of February next year. We should see its picture clearly, know its true specs and pricing during the event.
