TP-Link, a company well known for its networking appliances such as modem and routers, headed into Android market earlier this year with three budget smartphones, Neffos C5, C5L and C5 Max, today, the company has made a new addition to its smartphone portfolio called Neffos Y5L.
The Neffos Y5L which happens to be TP-Link fourth smartphone ever released comes with entry-level specs and is aimed at basic users. It features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. Diving in, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with a clock speed of 1.1GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. There is an 8GB of built-in storage onboard for hosting files, apps and data, with external MicroSD expansion slot that supports up to 32GB.

The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers dual-SIM functionality with dual standby. It comes equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while a 2-megapixel camera sits at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth, WiFi with Hotspot, 3GHz, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2020mAh battery.
The TP-Link Neffos Y5L will be available in multiple regions including Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe when it go on sale. Pricing will be announce locally.
