“Both Liverpool and Manchester United have not come up with an offer for Thiago. They want to blackmail us and are waiting until the last week of the market to make a low offer”, he acknowledged on ‘Sport1’.
“Bayern Munich must decide if they want to play the game or decide to keep Thiago”, Hoeness continued.
The ex-Bayern chief lamented that the player hasn’t been clear with the club who he is still honorary president of.
“We offered him a great contract for four years, but at the last minute he changed his mind. He surely already has a deal with Liverpool or Manchester United,” Hoeness hinted.
“He is a good boy from a sporting and humane point of view. If he doesn’t make up his mind soon, he will have to stay”, the German concluded.
