Vivo has officially took the wraps of its long rumoured first high-end smartphone in 2016, XPlay5, in an event organized by the company in China today. The phone comes in two variants, each label with different pricing. The XPlay5 Standard Edition with Snapdragon 652 and 4G RAM, and XPlay5 Ultimate Edition with Snapdragon 820 and 6GB of RAM. The first is priced at CNY 3698 ($564 USD) and the later at CNY 4288 ($654 USD). Both are now available for pre-orders on the company website. No details about global availability.

The Vivo XPlay5 features a 5.43-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with dual curve edge screen; runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box; packs a fingerprint sensor at the back; sports a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
