The Samsung Galaxy S5 was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) on 24th of February, and was later followed by Samsung S5 mini and Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, we thought samsung was through but we are wrong.
Another version of the budget smartphone was leaked, the Samsung Galaxy Active. Unlike the other versions, the Samsung Galaxy Active comes with waterproof and dustproof body with lower camera resolution and underwater photography mode. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active was slightly taller and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5.
The new high-end budget smartphone by Samsung features a 5.1-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels and 432ppi pixel density. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, and offer 4G and LTE support. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB built-in storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via MicroSD card.
It sport a 15-megapixel rear camera with features like HDR, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization and Aqua mode. It also has 2-megapixel front facing camera, which is capable of taking 1080p videos.
Connectivity options include 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, LTE and Micro USB. It is backed by 2800mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is expected to be launch at Samsung’s Galaxy Premiere press event on 12th of June, currently the AT&T is listing the Camo Green Samsung Galaxy S5 Active at $714.
