WHO Finally Speaks Out On Corona Virus Spread Timeline and Eradication

The truma of the 1918 flu pandemic was one that shock mother earth globally. Anyways, it lasted for only two years and two months. However, we can’t deny knowing it killed millions. About 500 million people worldwide were infected, and 50 million died.

Tedros Adhanom head of the World Health Organization said he believes the outbreak could be shorter than the 1918 flu. The Corona Virus has no expiration date attached to it, but scientific research seems to be making good waves.

Recall, August 2020 Microsoft Bill Gates predicted the outbreak could be over by the end of 2021 for rich countries. 

This time, the head of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he believes the pandemic will be over in two years.

“We hope to finish this pandemic before … less than two years,” Tedros said in a media briefing this week. 

Additionally, he stayed if we can pool our efforts together and with national unity, global solidarity – that’s really key – with utilizing the available tools to the maximum. 

Furthermore, he urged nations to join the COVAX Global Vaccines Facility, a collaboration with the goal of speeding up development and manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines. Eventually, guaranteeing fair equitable access to such vaccines for all countries.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom who is from Ethiopia, is a biologist and public-health researcher by Profession and has played major roles in the WHO role since 2017.

While he didn’t mention a specific day, month or range of months for the pandemic to end, the WHO declared the coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern in January, and a pandemic in March 2020.
