Lenovo has made a new addition to its Ideapad notebook series in India. The Ideapad 100S despite its entry-level specifications manage to run Windows 10 out-of-the-box. It has a slightly thick plastic body that measures 292 x 202 x 17.5mm, having an overall weightness of 1kg. The notebook features a 11.6-inch TN GL display with HD (1366×768) resolution and multitouch support. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735 with a base speed of 1.33GHz that can turbo boost up to 1.86GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics.
The Ideapad 100S includes a 32GB of built-in storage (eMMC), and it also has an external MicroSD card expansion slot. A VGA camera is equipped at the front and a 3.5mm audio jack at the side for quite listening pleasure. There are also two 1W speakers onboard. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, HDMI output port, and 2x USB 2.0 ports. A 2-cell 31.9Whr battery turn it on.

The Ideapad 100S is priced at Rs 14,990. It is available exclusively on e-commerce website Snapdeal. Availability for other regions is unknown.
