Xiaomi has introduced a new smartwatch on its MIJIA crowdfunding platform in China called WeLoop Hey 3S, which clearly reminds us of last watch released by the Cupertino tech giant, Apple.

From the watch face to its curved rectangle-shaped head, the WeLoop Hey 3S takes “almost everything” from Watch 2 with the exception of “Crown”. Although it has a single button at the side to mimic the crown, its placement is slightly different.
It does not only steal the look, but some features as well. For instance, the WeLoop Hey 3S is waterproof and can survive in up to 50 meters deep of water just like Apple Watch 2. It also comes with built-in GPS (with GLONASS) and heart rate sensor.
The smartwatch is aimed to cater for tracking different outdoor recreational activities such as steps, walk, run, distance covered and lots more. It can also monitor heart rate with its built-in heart rate sensor and can be use while swimming. It features a 1.28-inch LCD touch display with 176×176 pixel resolution, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
It can be paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth 4.2 onboard to synchronize accumulated data in real-time. When paired, users can also receive incoming notifications. Other sensors loaded with the device are 9-axis motion sensor, Gyro, Accelerometer, and Electronic Compass. Battery included is claimed to last up to 30 days and it can be charge wirelessly.
It measures 46.2×35.66×11.15mm and weighs 38 grams. The WeLoop Hey 3S comes in Bright Red, Green Youth, and Dynamic Black colors. It is available on Xiaomi’s MIJIA at CNY 539 ($75).
