ZTE launched Axon Max, its latest addition to Axon family in China. The device wears a price cap of CNY 2799 ($431 USD) and is already available for order via JD dot com. However, the company hasn’t reveal availability for global market.
The ZTE Axon Max packs a 6-inch AMOLED 2.5D curved display with full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, slammed with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. A 32GB storage is placed inside that is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS layed on top with MiFavor 3.5 UI, and has hybrid dual SIM slots that enables the second SIM slot to be use as MicroSD card slot. Just like the rest of the family, the Axon Max sports a fingerprint sensor at the rear for smart security and authentication. It bears a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and LED flash, while a 13-megapixel selfie camera is placed at the front.
On the connectivity fronts, the Axon Max support 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, GPS/A-GPS, and reversible USB Type-C port. It is backed by a huge 4140mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.
