ZTE Blade V580 with fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE goes exclusive in Japan

ZTE has launched Blade V580, its latest mid-budget smartphone exclusively in Japan. The phone is listed for pre-orders on the company Japanese webpage with a price tag of JPY 27,800 ($245 USD). It will start shipping from 25th of March. Availability for international market is not mentioned.

The ZTE Blade V580 is wrapped in a full metal body that measures 8.5mm at its thickest point. It features a 5.5-inch display with full-HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, flaunting a pixel density of 400ppi. Diving in, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

A 16GB storage is equipped inside which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Blade V580 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, it support hybrid dual SIM functionality that enables second SIM slot to be use as MicroSD card slot. Fingerprint sensor placed at the back offers smart security and also works as camera shutter button.

In photography, the device packs a 13-megapixel camera at the rear accompanied with a LED flash, while it sports a secondary 5-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfie. Connectivity options onboard includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. A 3,000mAh battery turn it on.

ZTE earlier this month released Blade D2, an entry-level smartphone with a gigantic 4000mAh battery in Vietnam, priced at VND 2,690,000 ($107 USD). The phone features a 5-inch HD display; packs a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset with 1GB of RAM, and sports 5MP and 2MP cameras.
