The Chinese phone manufacturer, ZTE, today has launched a new smartphone exclusively on US mobile network carrier Cricket named Grand X3. The device is priced at $129.99 USD and will be available from third week of January.
The main highlight of Grand X3 is its huge 3000mAh battery with support of fast charging, and its possession of USB Type-C for faster data transfer speed. Specwise, the device features a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It offer dual SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Diving in, it is driven by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

A 16GB storage is layed inside, which is further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 64GB). The Grand X3 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and bears a secondary 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE (with VoLTE), 3G, 2G, and GPS.
The company also launched Avid Plus, an entry-level smartphone, powered by a 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 processor. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels), 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 5MP rear camera, 2MP camera and 2,300mAh battery. The ZTE Avid Plus lacks 4G LTE and is priced at $114.99 USD.
