ZTE has announced Blade A1, its latest budget smartphone in China, wearing a price tag of CN¥ 599 ($94 USD). The device is currently available for pre-orders and will go sale starting from next week. There is no word on availability outside China.
Notably, the ZTE Blade A1 sports a fingerprint sensor at the back, which makes it one of the cheapest with such functionality at that price point. It features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixel, and packs a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM.

There is a 16GB of built-in storage onboard with support of up to 128GB external expandable storage via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and has hybrid dual SIM slots that enables the second SIM slot to be use as MicroSD card slot. A 13-megapixel camera is equipped at the rear along with LED flash, while it bears an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
On the connectivity front, the ZTE Blade A1 support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, and GPS. It is backed by a 2800mAh battery.
