The Chinese phone maker ZTE has launched a new budget smartphone in China, the Star 2. The phone is priced at CNY 2,499 (Roughly $410 US Dollars, NGN 78,000 Nairas) while availability for international market is yet to be revealed.
The highlight of the ZTE Star 2 is its offline voice control which allow users to operate their phone with there voice without internet connection, users can play music, take photos, dial calls and use third-party apps by just uttering a voice command with built-in voice recognition engine to back it up. The device is also pre-installed with speech to text engine that let users write note and compose text messages by voice.

ZTE Star 2 Specifications
The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box topped by the firm MiFavour 3.0 UI. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz slammed with 2GB of RAM and support 4G LTE.
The ZTE Star 2 touts a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and twin LED flash while it also houses a 5-megapixel front camera. It packs a 16GB built-in storage with external storage support and offers Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 3G, GPS/A-GPS and GPRS/EDGE as connectivity options. It is backed by a 2300mAh battery.
