ZTE is warming up to introduce a new Android smartphone next week according to latest report that surfaced online. The new device, which will be launch under the company’s “nubia” series of products will sports dual rear-facing cameras, each boasting a 13-megapixel sensor for great photo capture. A 16-megapixel camera will also be at the front for perfect selfie.
The nubia Z17 mini as called is expected to come in two variants, the first packing an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset with 4GB of RAM while the later will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. Moving on, the phone will features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1920×1080) display and there will be 64GB of storage inside with external MicroSD slot to further expand the storage up to 200GB.

If the rumours turns out to be true, the nubia Z17 mini won’t be running Android 7.0/7.1 Nougat but will instead be loaded with the nearly-dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with the firm’s proprietary nubia UI 4.0 on top to keep it company. A fingerprint scanner will also be onboard to keep users files, apps and data safe from prying eyes, though the exact location where the scanner will be situated is not known at this time.
Other specifications the nubia Z17 mini will be bringing along includes hybrid dual SIM slots, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, and a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
The phone is expected to launch on March 21 which is next week Tuesday. We’ll keep you updated.
