ZTE has launched a new budget smartphone exclusively on AT&T in US named ZMAX 2. The device will go sale starting from 25th of September in the region with a price tag of US$149.99.
The new ZTE ZMAX 2 is the successor of ZMAX that was launched in September last year. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz alongside with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

It includes a 16GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded via MicroSD card (up to 32GB). At the rear, the ZTE ZMAX 2 houses an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, while it equipped with a 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options onboard are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
