ZTE has partnered with network carrier MetroPCS to launch a new mid-flagship device in United States named ZMax Pro. Girdle in aluminium frame with plastic back cover, the phone features a 6.0-inch IPS display with full-HD (1920×1080) resolution, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.

The ZMax Pro boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, and includes 32GB of built-in storage which is further expandable via MicroSD card. Ⓐ fingerprint sensor is plastered to the back for smart security and authentication. In photography, the device boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera at the front.
Connectivity options onboard includes Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, and USB Type-C. It is fuelled by a 3400mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0.
The ZTE ZMax Pro is exclusive to MetroPCS customers at a price of $99 USD after mail-in rebate.
