Whatsapp is one of the most popular chatting app on the planet with over 700 million monthly users and 30 billion messages per day, as claimed by the firm. Most time, it might be frustrating using this app on low-end phones while some phones does not even support it at all. Using it on a PC is also a no-go area, but there are unofficial ways of using Whatsapp on PC.
The good news is users can now use Whatsapp on their PC without relying on any additional apps to do the work. The firm earlier on Thursday announced through a blog post a new service called Whatsapp Web. With Whatsapp Web, you have full access to your conversations and messages right on your desktop browser.

What is Whatsapp Web?
Whatsapp Web is a new service that allows you to access your Whatsapp conversations, messages, and chat history right on your PC browser.
How To Use It?
Whatsapp Web can only work on Google Chrome browser for now (update: it now work on all PC browsers). To use Whatsapp Web, simply visit web.whatsapp.com on your PC via Chrome browser. You’ll be asked to grant permission by scanning a QR code displayed on the site, simply open whatsapp app on your phone and scan the QR code, from there you’ll be able to have access to all your conversations as well as chat with friends in real-time.
Can Whatsapp Web Works On Other Web Browsers?
As of now, only Google Chrome is supported. Other browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and Netscape are currently not supported.
How Does It Works?
The web client is simply an extension of your phone, the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device. All your messages will still be intact on your phone so you have nothing to lose.
Can All Whatsapp Users Use This Service?
Currently, only Android, Windows Phone, and Blackberry users can use the service. iOS is not supported (update: iOS is now supported). Using the service also requires Whatsapp latest version installed on your phone as previous or outdated versions wont work. Remember, you need to grant permission via Whatsapp on your phone for the client to work.
What are the necessary conditions require to make it work?
You must have an active internet connection on your phone and Whatsapp app connected before Whatsapp Web service can work.
