Microsoft Launches Its First AIO PC with 28″ 4.5K Touch Display, 32GB RAM

While we are still waiting for Apple to drag the curtain off its 5K MaC monitor at its event scheduled for October 27 which is tomorrow, Microsoft has taken a quick pace to announce a new All-In-One PC, Surface Studio, at an event organized by the firm today. Notably, this is the first AIO device to be released by Microsoft since its existence.

The Surface Studio boasts a 28-inch 4.5K Ultra-HD PixelSense touch display which the firm claims deliver 63% more pixels when compare with premium 4K TVs that are trending in the markets. It comes with up to sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor and can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB storage. The PC graphics is handle by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M GDDR5. Though Microsoft is also offering a model with a more powerful GeForce GTX 980M GDDR5 to get work done without hitches.

The high-end specs is not only what got our attention but its revolutionary design, the architecture of its external layout. The Surface Studio features a counterbalance zero gravity hinge that can be raised or lowered to flip between Desktop mode and Studio mode. The PC is accompanied with Surface Mouse, Surface Pen, and Surface Keyboard.

The Surface Studio is available for purchase in United States on Microsoft online store and Best Buy. It will slowly rollout in limited quantities to other selected regions from December to early 2017.

At the event, Microsoft also launch Surface Dial. Its latest input invention that enable users to work with both hands. It is integrated with Windows 10 and will work with any device running the operating system. Zooming, Panning, Scrolling, and Navigating are made easier with this little piece of tech. No words on its pricing.
