Meizu at its grand event in China on Sunday announced its much expected trio smartphones, the Meizu 15 with a 5.46-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, the Meizu 15 Plus with a larger 5.95-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, and the Meizu 15 Lite with an LCD display. All the three device runs Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box with the latest Flyme OS 7 on top.
They shared the same body design which is mainly made of aluminium— with the heaviest weighing as much as 178 grams. Meizu has go for the good ol 16:9 display which brings on a sizable top and bottom bezel, but much work has been done to streamline the thickness of the side bezel which gives the phones a futuristic look. The bottom bezel harbors the physical home key with fingerprint sensors embedded beneath on all the three device. Meizu claimed 0.08s response time for the fingerprint sensor when tapped.

The home key has a pressure-sensing chip that works with the company proprietary mEngine heptic feedback system built into the Android software that mimic the feel of a physical button when pressed, according to Meizu.
The Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus shared the same photography tools. The phones sports 12MP+20MP dual rear-facing camera with Sony sensors and wide aperture. The cameras offers both optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS) and can record video in 4K resolution. 6-LED ring flash provides lighting for the rear cameras. The front camera bears a 20MP sensor with facial recognition imbibed for face unlock. The cameras are AI-enhanced for maximum efficiency.
The Meizu 15 Lite lacks stereo speakers and USB Type-C port that others have and only comes with a single 12MP rear camera.
