MAX XL is ZTE latest smartphone that has just headed to Sprint in the U.S. The phone is also available on Sprint’s subsidiaries, Boost and Virgin Mobile at $130 off-contract.
The device comes with a 6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixel. It is driven on the inside by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset with a clock speed of 1.4GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. It includes a 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

Perhaps, the most interesting aspect of MAX XL is Android 7.1.1 Nougat it runs out-of-the-box. It also has a rear-placed fingerprint sensor despite its low price. In photography, the device houses a 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash that can record 1080p video, while a 5-megapixel camera sits at the front for video-calling and selfie.
Connectivity options onboard are 4G LTE, WiFi with Hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS. It is powered by a huge 3,990mAh battery, which according to the firm can deliver up to 26.6 hours of talk time.
This is the second smartphone by ZTE to goes exclusive in U.S this week. The first was launched on US Cellular.
