Vivo has made a new addition to its selfie-focus smartphone series in India under its “Y” portfolio named Y66. The phone comes with a front-facing 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and soft front LED flash for better capture in the dark. A 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture is also embedded at the back with a single LED flash placed besides it as well.
The Vivo Y66 runs FunTouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and there is hybrid dual SIM slots onboard that can accommodate two SIMs or a SIM and MicroSD card at a time. The phone features a 5.5-inch IPS 2.5D curved display with HD resolution of 1280×720 pixel and pixel density of 267ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, slammed with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU.

It includes a 32GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. On the connectivity front, the Y66 supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro-USB. It measures 153.8×75.5×7.6mm; weighs 155 grams, and is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
The smartphone will be available in India from March 20 in Rose Gold and Crown Gold colors, at a price of Rs 14,990 ($223).
