LG is gearing forward to launch a new compact laser projector at the upcoming CES event scheduled for first week of January 2017. The company today has taken the wraps off the new device—dubbed ProBeam with model number HF80J, the device offers home cinema experience and can produce 2000 lumen of brightness, well enough to make it viewable in a bright room.
The projector comes in a sleek light body that weighs just 2.1kg, making it easy to be carry around. Though the firm did not reveal the size and dimensions of contents that ProBeam can project to a wall, it made it known that images and videos are project in full-HD. To further boost its cinema experience, the device comes with LG Sound Sync Adjustment, this will enable users to directly paired their Bluetooth audio systems such as speakers and headphones to the device and listen to audio render comfortably.

The LG ProBeam also boasts of wireless mirroring feature, enabling contents to be directly shared from a supported miracast-enabled device such as smartphone to the projector screen for viewing. Furthermore, the device features LG proprietary webOS platform, giving users access to wide varieties of streaming services and programs in real-time. For smarter accessibility at a given distant, the ProBeam is also accompanied with LG’s Magic Remote Control, this can be use to navigate and fine-tune settings across the webOS interface.
The LG ProBeam (HF80J) will be showcase at CES in Central Hall booth number 11100 from January 5 to 8 in Las Vegas. Its pricing is expected to be reveal during the event.
