Panasonic last week released Eluga Prim with 5-inch display and 3GB RAM in India, today, the company has launched another smartphone in same region but this time under its “P Series”. The P88 as named comes with a 5.3-inch IPS On-Cell display with HD (1280×720 pixel) resolution, protected by 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass.
An unspecified quad-core processor with 1.25GHz clock speed powered it on the inside, clubbed with 2GB of RAM. It includes a 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The Panasonic P88 boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and there two SIM slots provided for dual use, both offering 4G VoLTE.

In photography, the phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with triple LED flash while a 5-megapixel camera is placed at the front for video-calling and selfie. Connectivity options onboard are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi with Hotspot, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB apart from 4G VoLTE. It is backed by a 2600mAh battery.
The Panasonic P88 wears a price tag of Rs 9,290 ($136 USD). It will be available in Gold and Charcoal Grey colors when it go on sale.
