Huawei has just unleashed the dragon, the long rumoured beast and most leaked smartphone of the year, the Mate 9. The “Mate” series annually make their appearance unlike other Huawei mobile products, and being the “king” among the company suit of products just as Galaxy S series is that of Samsung and G series is that of LG, it always brings new technology aboard. The launching this time around is not made in China but in Europe.
The first thing that got our attention is next-gen photography tool that it packs behind. The Huawei Mate 9 sports dual vertical-aligned rear cameras, the first boasting a 20MP monochrome sensor with hybrid zoom and the second a 12MP RGB sensor, both flaunting second-generation Leica optical lens. Another notable crest this smartphone boast of is latest Android OS version it runs, Android 7.0 Nougat to be precise.

Huawei has chosen to use its own chipset, the very latest Kirin 960 SoC based on 16nm FinFET Plus process to powered the hardware’s and software’s while Mali-G71 8-core GPU will be handling the graphics. The Mate 9 is wrapped in full metal body that is 7.9mm thick and weigh 190 grams.
