Alcatel has made a new addition to its “Pixi” smartphone line-up called Pixi 4 Plus Power. The phone is noted for the gigantic 5000mAh battery it packs behind which also serves a power bank for charging other mobile portable devices, this is made possible by a reversible USB port located at its bottom.

While the company hasn’t detailed the type and clock speed of processor that will be shipping with the Pixi 4 Plus Power, it made known most of its key specifications. The phone features a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD (1280×720) resolution and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It comes with a 1GB of RAM and houses an 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
At the rear is a 13-megapixel camera with a single LED flash while hosts a 5-megapixel camera at the front for video-calling and selfie. The dual-SIM enabled Pixi 4 Plus Power offers Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS and Micro-USB as connectivity options but lacks 4G LTE. It measures 152×78.3×9.9mm and weigh 202 grams.
The phone back cover is interchangeable and can be easily swap with different colorful covers that are made available, these includes Blue, Orange, Green, and White. Its pricing and availability details are still kept under-wraps.
