Micromax has launched a new affordable laptop running Windows 10 in India, but not under the company’s “Lapbook and Laptab” series this time around. The Ignite LPQ61 as called, is a full Windows laptop flaunting a 14-inch HD (1366×768) touch display with 16:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support.
It is powered by a quad-core Intel Pentium N3700 processor with a clock speed of 1.6GHz, that can turbo boost up to 2.4GHz, slammed with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and Intel HD Graphics. The device includes a 1TB of hard disk drive (HDD), and has a MicroSD expansion slot with support of up to 64GB. Sitting at the front above the display is a 1-megapixel webcam for video calling. The Ignite LPQ61 also comes with dual stereo speakers for good listening pleasure.

Connectivity options onboard are 2x USB 3.0 ports, mini-HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, RJ45 Eternet port, and 3.5mm audio jack. It is backed by a 4500mAh battery.
The Micromax Ignite LPQ61 is exclusively available on e-commerce site, FlipKart, at a price of Rs 18,990 ($285 USD). We couldn’t stop hoping that Micromax will one day foray into the gaming laptop market.
