X1, Alcatel latest mid-end smartphone silently went on sale in India on Thursday. The device has a very slim body, measuring just 6.99mm at its thickest point. It sports a Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the back, and there is Dragontrail glass protecting the 5-inch HD (1280×720) AMOLED display that sits at the front. The Alcatel X1 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, clubbed with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. 16GB of built-in storage included can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Android 5.1 Lollipop governs all software activities, and there are two SIM slots onboard with dual standby. The X1 hosts a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and twin-tone LED flash, while a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture is equipped at the front. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is fuelled by a 2150mAh battery.

The Alcatel X1 also comes with HiFi audio with Cirrus logic for good listening pleasure. It is available exclusively on popular e-commerce stores in India at a price of Rs 15,999 ($240 USD).
