LG Gram 14 ultra-thin Windows 10 Laptop with full-HD display launched in India

The South Korean tech giant, LG, has introduced an ultra-thin laptop in India, Gram 14. The laptop was first unveiled in September last year and later went on sale in North America around October same year. However, unlike the first release which runs Windows 8.1, the one outed in India today runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box.

The LG Gram 14 sports magnesium alloy body that offers a steady solid built without screwing up the weight. It features a 14-inch IPS display flaunting a full-HD (1920×1080) resolution, but lacks touchscreen functionality. It is driven by an Intel Core-i5 6200U processor with a base clock speed of 2.3GHz that can turbo-boost up to 2.8GHz, slammed with Intel HD Graphics 520 GPU. LG is offering the laptop in two configurations; 4GB RAM with 128GB SSD, and 8GB RAM with 256GB SSD storage, depending on buyers choice.

In terms of connectivity, the Gram 14 supports 2x USB 3.0 ports, 1x USB 2.0 port, HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11ac, and Ethernet port. There is an HD webcam at the front as usual, and dual 1W stereo speakers and microphone. It is powered by a 34Whr Li-ion battery.

The LG Gram 14 is priced at Rs 79,990 ($1,200 USD) for 4GB RAM version, and Rs 94,999 ($1,4250) for 8GB RAM version. It will be available at LG retailers outlets across the region in the coming days.
